"(I'm Always Touched by Your) Presence, Dear" is track number 6 from the 1978 album Plastic Letters by Blondie, and was also, the third single from the band, reaching number 10 in May 1978. It was written by former bass player Gary Valentine Lachman, for his then girlfriend Lisa Jane Persky before his departure from the band. Gary also wrote "X-Offender", from the band's self titled, début album Blondie.
