Image:Emilie-Simon-Octogne-14.jpg Émilie Simon (born 1978 in Montpellier, France) is a French singer and composer. Her father is a sound engineer.

She is the composer of the soundtrack to the French-language version of March of the Penguins (La Marche de l'empereur), for which she was nominated for Best Original Score in the 2006 César Awards, and won Best Original Soundtrack in the 2006 Victoires de la musique. This score is not used in the English-language version of the documentary.

Her first eponymous album also won a Victoire in 2004, for Best Electronic album.
