Šavnik (Cyrillic: Шавник) is a small town in northern Montenegro. It has a population of 570 (2003 census).

Šavnik is the centre of Šavnik municipality (population 2,947) and unofficial centre of Drobnjaci region, home of the Drobnjaci tribe.

Šavnik is administrative centre of Šavnik municipality, which has 2,947 residents. The town of Šavnik itself has a population of 570.

Šavnik municipality has the smallest population of all Montenegrin municipalities. The town of Šavnik is also the capital of municipality in Montenegro with fewest residents.
