Zarko Varajic, a Montenegrin Serb from Niksic, Montenegro, was a well known basketball player in then Yugoslavia. In 1979 Zarko Varajic scored 47 points - the record in the number of points scored in the final matches of the European Champions' Cup (now the Euroleague) during the period he played with Sarajevo Bosna against the Italian Emerson.
