Ơ
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ơ is one of the 12 Vietnamese language vowels. It is pronounced like an unrounded 'o'. The famous vietnamese dish phở uses this letter.
This symbol does not exist in many fonts, and isn't included on any keyboards, so it is often written as either o+ or o*. The VIQR standard is o+.
Because Vietnamese is a tonal language this letter may optionally have any one of the 5 tonal symbols above or below it.
