ȹ
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The QP digraph ȹ is a ligature of Latin p and q, and is used in some phonetic transcription systems, particularly for African languages, to represent a voiceless labiodental plosive (IPA: p͆). ȹ was added to Unicode 4.1 in 2005, as U+0239 LATIN SMALL LETTER QP DIGRAPH. As of 2006, only handful of fonts can display the character. These include Charis SIL, Code2000, Doulos SIL and DejaVu fonts.
