From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 1st Victoria Police Scottish Scout Group was a scout troop historically associated with Victoria Police, in Australia. The name is derived from the Group's first hall location - within the hall of the Victoria Police. In appreciation, the Troop adopted the MacPherson tartan kilt, which became part of the Troop uniform.
The 1st Victoria Police Scottish Scout Group subsequently amalgamated with 1st Glen Waverley Scout Group, to form the 1st Glen Waverley Police Scottish Scout Group. It's hall is now located in Central Reserve, Glen Waverley.
