200 Greenwich Street is the address for a new office building to be erected as part of the World Trade Center reconstruction in New York City. The building has also been referred to as World Trade Center Tower 2 and will be on the east side of Greenwich Street, across the street from the original location of the twin towers that were destroyed during the September 11, 2001 attacks.

The 78-story building was designed by Foster and Partners, London. The building will have a height of 1,254 feet (382 m), with a tripod shaped antenna that reaches 1,350 feet (411 m).<ref> Designs for three World Trade Center Towers Unveiled, Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, URL retrieved September 7, 2006</ref> In comparison, the Empire State Building is 1250 feet (381 m) tall at its top floor, and the original World Trade Center Two building was 1,362 feet (415 m). The structural engineer for the building is WSP Cantor Seinuk, New York City.<ref>"Ground Zero Office Designs Hailed as Hopeful Symbols" in Engineering News-Record, September 18, 2006, pg. 12</ref>

Once built it will be the second tallest building in New York City even without the spire being counted, topping the Empire State Building. The sloping roof consisting of four diamonds inclines towards the memorial to provide a visual marker around the skyline of just where the original towers were. The tower is designed to resemble a cross with indentations breaking up the sides. <ref>Skyscrapernews New World Trade Centre Designs Released, URL retrieved September 11, 2006</ref>

The total floor space of 200 Greenwich Street is anticipated to include 2.4 million square feet of office space and another 130,000 square feet for retail shops and access areas to the underground PATH railway. Excavation for the new building is expected to commence in 2007 and the building will be completed by 2011.<ref>PR Newswire, Pritzker Prize-Winning Architect Lord Norman Foster Commissioned to Design Third Tower to be Rebuilt at World Trade Center, URL retrieved June 22, 2006</ref>
