2UE is a commercial radio station in Sydney, Australia. It broadcasts on 954 kHz, AM. It began broadcasting on 26 January 1925 as 2EU.[1]
Predominantly a talkback radio station, it offers current affairs oriented programs in the morning, with more relaxed programing at nights and on weekends.
It has been a constant rival of another Sydney station 2GB, which offers a similar format. 2UE suffered a blow when long time breakfast program host Alan Jones left to take on the same shift at 2GB.

[edit] Glenn Wheeler
Glenn Wheeler is a radio broadcaster on 2UE. He is currently host of the 6 hour weekend afternoon variety show commencing at noon which includes gardening tips, real estate as well as talkback radio. Prior to this, Wheeler had undertaken the midnight to dawn program on Sydney's 2GB.
He has done guest speaking for various special occasions such as auctions, weddings, parties, award nights and company presentations, but his favorite is supporting charity related events.
In mid 2006, while George and Paul were on holidays, he took over their quiz segment on the show which they always do just before they finish their shift at 12 noon (which incidentally is also a 6 hour shift just before Glenn Wheeler's) with the help of Steve Liebmann.
He fills in for people that are sick/ill or on leave and has done the Stan Zemanek show in the early part of 2006.
