50 Kennedy Plaza (formerly known as Fleet Center) is an International style skyscraper in Providence, Rhode Island. At a height of 285ft (87m)<ref>http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=125370, Emporis.com. "50 Kennedy Plaza".</ref>, it is currently the fifth tallest building in the city and state. The Fortune 1000 company Nortek Incorporated is headquartered here.<ref>http://www.nortek-inc.com/corpback.htm Nortek's company website</ref>. Its exterior façade is done in "granite framing green-reflective-glass side elevations"<ref>Woodward, Wm McKenzie. Guide to Providence Architecture. 1st ed. 2003: United States. p102.</ref>. Its location, sandwiched between the 130m Bank of America Building and 125m One Financial Center, ostensibly detracts from its height with architectural historian Wm Woodward calling it, "a trifle too low for the site". Though, in the company of the aforementioned buildings, it forms part of one of the most identifiable parts of the Providence skyline. It is this section of the Providence skyline that is featured on the television show Family Guy.
