The 7^th arrondissement, located on the Left Bank, is one of the 20 arrondissements of Paris, France. It is heavily charged with French national institutions. It hosts the French National Assembly and numerous French ministries.

The 7^th arrondissement is also known by international tourists for hosting the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides, which is the burial site of Napoléon.

The peak of population of Paris 7th arrondissement happened rather early in 1926 with 110,684 inhabitants. Because of the locations of numerous bodies of the French government, this arrondissement has never been excessively densely populated. In 1999, the population was of 56,985 inhabitants while the arrondissement also hosted 76,212 jobs. The land area of this arrondissement is exactly of 4.088 km² (1.578 sq. miles).
