Aarón Galindo Rubio (born May 8, 1982 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican football central defender, who currently plays for Hércules CF of the Spanish Segunda División.

Galindo begin practicing with Cruz Azul at just the young age of 6, he climbed up the youth ranks and had his first taste of competition at 14. Finaly Galindo made his debut with the first team in the 2002 Spring season. His performances earned him more and more time, and by the 2003 Clausura, he was a regular starter for the side. Galindo has played for numerous Youth Mexican national teams; a starter for the U-23 team at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Two games into the 2005 Fifa Confederations Cup, Galindo along with teamate (of both club and country) Salvador Carmona were separated from the rest of the national team in Gottingen, Germany. Initially discipline for bad conduct was the first explanation given by the Mexican federation for the separation, later the federation confirmed both players tested positive for performance enhancement drugs. Both men received a one year ban from competition, which barred Galindo from playing in the 2006 Fifa World Cup; the 2005 Apertura; and 2006 Clausura seasons in the Mexican league. The team Dr. for Cruz Azul took most of the blame because, allegedly, he gaved the drugs to both athletes without them knowing what they were taking.

Before the exodus of Mexican players into European football, after the 2006 World Cup, Galindo was regarded as one the brightest talents who had the most potential to apply his trade in Europe. Fans and media alike speculate his move to Spainsh Segunda as a way for him to redeem himself and start fresh.
