Academy of Television Arts and Sciences

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS) is the organization which awards the Primetime Emmys. ATAS also houses the Los Angeles Emmy Awards. ATAS was founded in 1946. They are also the creators of the Television Hall of Fame.
The ATAS Foundation houses The Archive of American Television, housing interviews with over 475 luminaries of the U.S. television industry, many of which are available on Google Video
