The Agglomeration of Quebec is formed by Quebec City, L'Ancienne-Lorette and Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.

The Agglomeration of Quebec (AQ) was created on January 1, 2006. Date from the redefinitions of Quebec City. The population of the agglomeration is surroundings 600 000 inhabitants. She is in the Quebec City metropolitan area.

It's used to define the procedure because L'Ancienne-Lorette and Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures have the services of the police officers and firemen of Quebec City, aqueducts of Quebec City, etc.
