Alain de Royer-Dupré

Alain de Royer-Dupré, born on September 24th 1944, is a leading French racehorse trainer. He began training in Normandy, but his career achieved its greatest heights following his move to Chantilly in 1981. On the death of François Mathet, de Royer-Dupré became the principal French trainer to HH Aga Khan IV, for whom he has handled a string of major winners around the world.
