[edit] About the Show
All for Love’s main plot revolves around the secret love that Sidney has for his childhood friend Eula (played by Gong Hyo Jin), and his self-sacrificing love for his child, Gillian (played by Song Min Joo). Sidney and Eula were separated due to tragedies that befell them when they were in high school. Eula was forced to leave their town because creditors were chasing her family, while Sidney was locked in a juvenile detention center because he almost killed a man while trying to retrieve a phonograph that he knew held a sentimental value for Eula.
After more than a decade, their paths crossed again. Eula is now a teacher while Sidney now has Gillian, his 7-year-old child who is suffering from leukemia. Sidney will do everything to provide for her and make her well, even to the point of becoming a gigolo, using his good looks to earn money from rich married women. Yet he never forgot about Eula. However, while Eula still has feelings for Sidney, she is already in a relationship with David, a doctor who is attending Gillian.
The lives of these individuals will become even more complicated now that their paths have crossed. But will Sidney and Eula ever find a way to bring back what was lost in the midst of all the obstacles in their way?
