Allen Hagaman
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Allen Orlando Hagaman (October 13, 1885 - May 6, 1937) was a US Navy linesman and the sole ground-crew casualty of the Hindenburg disaster.
Hagaman was killed after he tripped over mooring tracks, and the blazing hull of the airship hit the ground. Somes reports suggest he may have been crushed by an engine, rather than simply engulfed in the inferno.
Hagaman was a native of Lakehurst, New Jersey.
