Alliance of Artists and Recording Companies

The Alliance of Artists and Recording Companies (also known as AARC) is a non-profit organization formed to distribute Audio Home Recording Act royalties to Featured Artists and Sound Recording Copyright Owners (record labels). AARC does not represent writers, non-featured artists, or publishers.
AARC represents over 60,000 Featured Recording Artists and over 6,000 Record Labels, both Independent and Owned by Majors. AARC has been operating and distributing royalties since 1992 and is located in Alexandria, VA, a suburb of Washington, DC.
