Altrincham railway station serves the town of Altrincham in Greater Manchester. The station also serves as the terminus of the Metrolink from Manchester city centre.
The station has 4 platforms - 2 through platforms for the Northern Rail mainline sevices to Manchester Piccadilly and Chester and two bay platforms for the Metrolink services, although only one of these is regularly used.
