Amphicyonids are extinct Carnivora mammals from the family Amphicyonidae that were probably closely related to the Ursidae (bears). They are also known as bear-dogs.
This contains three subfamilies: the Amphicyoninae, the Daphoeninae and the Thanmastocyoninae.
