André Lefèbvre

André Lefèbvre (August 19, 18941963) was a French automobile engineer.

Lefèbvre, born in Louvres, France, began his career as an aviation engineer and racing driver, who won the 1927 Rallye Monte Carlo.

In 1933 he was hired by André Citroën for his automobile factory. After the death of Andre Citroën in 1935, he continued work at the company, led by the innovative entrepreneur Pierre Boulanger, who came from the Michelin company.

Working with Citroën designers Flaminio Bertoni and Paul Mages, Lefèbvre created four of the most dramatic, boldly designed vehicles in the 20th century:
