Anthropoid

Anthropoid came from the Greek for "of human likeness". In biology it is used interchangeably with simian.
Distinguish from:
- Anthropoides, a genus of crane (bird).
- android, a human-like robot.
Operation Anthropoid was the codename for the assassination of top Nazi Reinhard Heydrich during World War II in Prague.
