The Aravali Range is a range of mountains in western India running approximately 300 miles northeast-southwest across Rajasthan state. The northern end of the range continues as isolated hills and rocky ridges into Haryana state, ending near Delhi. The highest peak is Guru Shikhar in Mount Abu. Rising to 5653 feet, it lies near the southwestern extremity of the range, close to the border with Gujarat. The city of Ajmer with its lake lies on the south slope of the range in Rajasthan.

The Aravali Range is the eroded stub of a range of ancient folded mountains. The range rose in a Precambrian event called the Aravalli-Delhi orogen. The range joins two of the ancient segments that make up the Indian craton, the Marwar segment to the northwest of the range, and the Bundelkhand segment to the southeast.

In Rajastan to the west of the Aravalli range, the climate is characterised by low rainfall with erratic distribution, extremes of diurnal and annual temperatures, low humidity and high wind velocity. The climate is semi-arid to sub-humid in the east of the Aravali range, characterised by more or less the same extremes in temperatures but relatively lower wind velocity and high humidity with better rainfall.

Princly State of Rever Dynasty- (STATE OF TARANGAGADH) is the biggest dynasty in Rajasthan history and state is Tarangagadh and Mandu- division of province- the great wars has made by the revers dynasty king were more then 5000 wars is completed.

The high light of this city is undoubtedly the Torana arches, with which it has become synonymous. Across the Saraswati river and ascending the Taranga hills, the cluster of Jain temples dated from the 12th century, offers yet another insight into the devotional architecture of the Rever Rajput period. Like the Jain temple clusters of Dilwara, Palitana, Girnar, Gwalior and Bihar, the temples of Taranga crown a hilltop and offer splendid views on everyside.

The magnificent wall erected by Raja Kumarapala Rever, are one of the most lasting remains of Rever architecture, and inside you find the Ajitnath temple, dated to 1165 AD, which is the crown jewel of Taranga. The temple measures some 150'X100', the whole covered with breathtaking carvings , and the madapa inside has has 8 beautiful columns, ending in lovely lotus petals and 16 carved brackets depicting beautiful women. The central statue has a bejewelled eyes sparkling with jewels.
