Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (NYSE: ADP) is the largest payroll and tax filing processors in the world, serving more than 600,000 clients. Other offerings include accounting, employment background checks, desktop applications support, and business development training services.

ADP is composed of three business units: ADP Employer Services, ADP Brokerage Services Group and ADP Dealer Services. ADP is one of the eight companies (as of 2005) that are still rated by Moody's as AAA.

Prior to 2006, ADP had a fourth business unit, ADP Claims Services, which provided auto collision repair estimates for insurers. The division (Audatex) was sold to Solera in the early part of 2006.
