B.B. Dickerson was the bass player for the 1970s latin/funk group War.

He is still active in the curent rendition of the band, and also loans his voice many of the band's most famous tracks.

Morris “B.B.” Dickerson

Morris B.B. Dickerson was born on August 3, 1949 in Torrance, California. Most of his fans know him as B.B. Dickerson the extraordinary bassist that recorded and created platinum hits through out the 70’s, 80’s and the 90’s. Such classics as, “Low rider”, “Why Can’t we be Friends”, “Slippin into Darkness” and his velvet voice singing lead on, “The World Is Ghetto”.

He now lives in Southern California and tours with his uncle Howard E. Scott, Lee Oskar and Harold Brown as the Lowrider Band. http://www.lowriderband.com
