BSA Gold Star
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The BSA Gold Star was a 500 cc 4-stroke production motorcycle that gained its reputation for being one of the fastest machines of the day during the 1950's. These motorcycles were popular because of their high performance out of the box. Besides being hand built, they came from the factory with the results of a dynamometer test, allowing the new owner to see how much horsepower his or her machine had. On top of this, the Gold Star could be modified with many accesories, most of which made the bike into an even more formidable racing contendor.
