Baía de Todos os Santos

Salvador and Baía de Todos os Santos from space, April 1997 Baía de Todos os Santos or Bahia de Todos os Santos (All Saints' Bay, in archaic Portuguese) is the main and biggest bay of the state of Bahia, Brazil (its name expanded to include all a province, now known as the state of Bahia), where the city of São Salvador da Bahia de Todos os Santos was built.

This bay surrounds part of the city of Salvador. The other part is surrounded by open ocean.
