Bad Königshofen

Bad Königshofen im Grabfeld is a small spa town in the Rhön-Grabfeld district, in the north east of Lower Franconia, Bavaria on the Franconian Saale a few kilometers from the border with Thuringia. The population was 7,008 (from the 31 December 2003 census) and the land area is 69.52 km².
Several smaller villages exist within the town limits:
- Althausen
- Aub
- Eyershausen
- Gabolshausen
- Ipthausen
- Merkershausen
- Untereßfeld
The city is twinned with Arlington, Texas, USA.
