Basil John Mason

Basil John Mason FRS (1920?- ) is a former Director of the UK Meteorological Office, and an expert on the physics of clouds. His work includes the Mason Equation, giving the growth or evaporation of small water droplets. He was President of the Royal Meteorological Society from 1968 to 1970 and was knighted for his services to meteorology.
