Bedford Park is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 574 at the 2000 census. Bedford Park consists of a small residential area and vast amounts of heavy industry sprawling to the east and a small amount to the west.

Bedford Park is located at 41°45′9″N, 87°47′9″W (41.768508, -87.785803)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 15.7 km² (6.1 mi²). 15.5 km² (6.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it (1.81%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 574 people, 211 households, and 160 families residing in the village. The population density was 37.1/km² (96.2/mi²). There were 218 housing units at an average density of 14.1/km² (36.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 96.86% White, 1.05% African American, 0.52% Native American, 0.17% Asian, 0.17% from other races, and 1.22% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.62% of the population.

There were 211 households out of which 27.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.3% were married couples living together, 14.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.7% were non-families. 21.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.72 and the average family size was 3.17.

In the village the population was spread out with 22.3% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 30.0% from 25 to 44, 23.2% from 45 to 64, and 18.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 87.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.2 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $49,722, and the median income for a family was $57,250. Males had a median income of $37,438 versus $31,875 for females. The per capita income for the village was $22,887. About 2.9% of families and 2.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.7% of those under age 18 and 3.8% of those age 65 or over.
