Bedworth railway station serves the town of Bedworth in Warwickshire, England. It is on the Coventry to Nuneaton Line 10 km (6ΒΌ miles) north of Coventry railway station.
The original station in Bedworth was closed and demolished in the 1960s when passenger services were removed from the Coventry-Nuneaton line. The present station was officially opened on 10 May 1988 with normal passager traffic from 16 May1988, a year after passenger services were restored to the line.
Until a few years ago Bedworth station had direct links to the East Midlands. However, as part of changes to track layout at Nuneaton station, the link to the Nuneaton-Leicester line was removed and so trains on the line only go between Coventry and Nuneaton.
[edit] Services
