The town centre (darkgreen) and the statistical district (lightgreen) of Beets in the municipality of Zeevang.

Beets (52°35′N 4°59′E) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Zeevang, and lies about 9 km southwest of Hoorn.

In 2001, the small town centre of Beets had 243 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.05 km², and contained 100 residences.<ref name="CBS">Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Bevolkingskernen in Nederland 2001 [1]. Statistics are for the continuous built-up area.</ref> The statistical district "Beets", which covers the village and the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 560.<ref name="CBS2">Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Statline: Kerncijfers wijken en buurten 2003-2005 [2]. As of January 1, 2005.</ref>

Until 1970, Beets was a separate municipality.
