The Bell 417 is a light helicoper produced by Bell Helicopter Textron. It is single-engine, four-bladed growth variant of the Bell 407, in essesence a civil ARH-70. The 417 was unveiled on February 26, 2006 at the 2006 Heli-Expo, and made its first flight on June 8, 2006 from Bell's XworkX facility.<ref> (October 2006) "Bell 417 achieves first flight". The 417 is powered by a Honeywell HTS900 turboshaft engine, producing 970 horsepower and includes full FADEC controls. The cabin will seat 5 passengers in club-seating configuration, in addition to the crew of two.<ref>Bell Helicopter Unveils New Bell 417. Retrieved on 2006-11-09.</ref>
