Bemmel

Bemmel is a village in Gelderland in the municipality of Lingewaard. It was previously a municipality of its own, but in 2001 it merged with Huissen and Gendt to form the new municipality Bemmel, which was later renamed Lingewaard.
It has a population of 12,189 (as at 1 January 2006).
