Benzopyran is an polycyclic organic compound that results from the fusion of a benzene ring to a heterocyclic pyran ring. There are two isomers of benzopyran depending on which type of pyran is fused to the benzene ring. 2H-1-Benzopyran and 4H-1-benzopyran result from the fusion of 2H-pyran and 4H-pyran to the benzene ring respectively.
