Bernice Hansen was a voice artist who did a number of female character voices for Warner Bros. cartoons in the 1930s and early-1940s. She also did male characters that required squeaky voices.

Hansen is often credited with voicing the mouse called Sniffles, although some researchers dispute that credit <ref>[1]</ref>. In fact, IMDb considers Gay Seabrook to be the voice of Sniffles <ref>[2] </ref>, as does Turner Classic Movies, which most often airs the Sniffles cartoons. [3]

Hansen, like all the Warner voice artists (except Mel Blanc) received no on-screen credits in the cartoons, and with several of the 1930s female voices (Hansen, Seabrook and Sara Berner <ref>[4] </ref>) apparently having a similar sound, research on the matter has proven challenging.
