Bill Aitken (politician)

Bill Aitken (15 April, 1947, Glasgow) is a Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party member of the Scottish Parliament for Glasgow.
Following a career in the insurance industry, he represented the City of Glasgow as a councillor between 1976 and 1999 and entered the Scottish Parliament at the election in May 1999. He is also a Justice of the Peace and a Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow. He is currently the Chief Whip for the Scottish Conservative Party in Holyrood.
