Bob Plager

Bob Plager (born March 11, 1943 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League for fourteen seasons from 1964-65 until 1977-78. He had two brothers, Bill and Barclay, who also played in the NHL.
He was considered the hardest hitter in the NHL at the time he played, and forwards always came into the St. Louis defensive zone with their head up whenever he and brother Barc were around.
Plager played 644 career NHL games, scoring 20 goals and 126 assists for 146 points.
