'Boomerang!' is a 1947 film based on a true story about the early career of Attorney General Homer Cummings. The film was directed by Elia Kazan and based on a story (written by Fulton Oursler) in Reader's Digest. The film has scenes shot in Stamford, Connecticut. The semidocumentary also contains voice-overs by Reed Hadley.
A minister is shot dead on a Connecticut public street at night. After weeks of public pressure to capture the killer, a man (Kennedy) is eventually arrested and finally falsely accused for murdering him. The District Attorney instead of prosecuting him, defends him and eventually proves his innocence.

It is not known if it will be released at some point in the future. The speculation is that it could be a rights issue as the dvd itself has no flaws or defects.
