Bormida is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about 60 km west of Genoa and about 20 km west of Savona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 446 and an area of 22.4 km².<ref name="istat">All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.</ref>

Bormida borders the following municipalities: Calice Ligure, Calizzano, Mallare, Osiglia, Pallare, and Rialto.
