Brian Bromberg

Brian Bromberg (born December 5, 1960 in Tucson, Arizona) is an American jazz bassist who performs on both electric and acoustic instruments.
He is known for his jazz compilations, and for using basses tuned like guitars. Several of his albums don't have any guitars at all, but feature the melody on piccolo basses.
