Brink! is a 1998 Disney Channel Original Movie set in the backdrop of competitive inline skating.
[edit] Plot
In this adaptation of Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates, Andy "Brink" Brinker and his friends, who call themselves "soul-skaters", clash with a group of sponsored skaters - team "X-Bladz", but when Brink discovers his family needs money, he decides to go over to the dark side of skating and joins team X-Bladz. Only after realizing that this transformation was a poor decision he forgoes his financial problems and makes due by getting a job at a local dog care shop and getting a several months advance. With this money he supports his Soul-Skating friends to compete in a decisive competition against other skaters and among them his old team: X-Bladz.
