Two National Football League teams have been called The Buccaneers:

• The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, founded in 1976, still exist.
• The Los Angeles Buccaneers played only in the 1926 season.

Several drum and bugle corps have been called Buccaneers, but only one is still active:

• The Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps.

"Buccaneer" is a type of pirate.
