A burner describes several things;
- A mechanical device that burns a gas or liquid fuel into a flame in a controlled manner, like in a furnace or a gas stove. gas burner or oil burner
- A CD recording tool: CD burner
- A Burner (Burning Man) is someone who identifies with subculture surrounding the Burning Man festival or related regional events
- A minor neurological injury suffered mostly by athletes participating in contact sports, such as football.
- A weapon used by the soldiers of the Mobile Infintry in Robert A. Heinlein's novel Starship Troopers.
- A slang term for a hooligan
- Criminal/street slang for a cell phone meant to be used for only a short term and then thrown away or "burned". This is to avoid it being electronically monitored by the police. Made popular by the HBO television show The Wire.
- An elaborate piece of graffiti.
