A button is a clothing fastener or similar implement used to temporarily attach one item to another.
Button can also refer to:
- Campaign button, or similar novelty item: "button", "pin" or "badge" (UK)
- Button (control), or "push button", used to operate many electronic and mechanical devices
- Button (computing), same as above, displayed on a computer screen, controlling the software
- "The button", a special button (usually fictional) that a government or military leader could push to launch nuclear weapons
