Carlos Andres Diogo Enceñat (born July 18, 1983 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan football player, who currently plays for Real Zaragoza in La Liga, on loan from Real Madrid.
He was previously with River Plate of Uruguay (1999-03), Peñarol (2003-04) and River Plate of Argentina (2004-05).
Son of one of the best Uruguayan soccer players, Carlos Diogo, who also played in Peñarol, and in several Brazilians soccer clubs. With just a few games he has shown that is one of the best Uruguayan soccer players of the last decade, as well as Alvaro Recoba, Pablo Bengoechea and Antonio Pacheco.
On Wednesday August 23 of 2006, the many rumours of Diogo leaving Madrid came true when Real deceided to send him out on loan to the highly interested Real Zaragoza for an undisclosed fee. Real Madrid stated on their website "Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Real Zaragoza to loan Carlos Diogo, the 23 year old Uruguayan international, to the Aragon-based team for the 2006/07 season."
