From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Caroline Georgina Corr, MBE (born 17th March, 1973) is the drummer for the folk-rock band The Corrs. Caroline is 5'4", the second shortest after Andrea. In addition to the drums, Caroline also plays the bodhrán, piano, and occasional backing vocals. She also plays the tin whistle. The Corr siblings were awarded honorary MBEs in 2005 by Queen Elizabeth II, in recognition of their musical talents and also their charitable work which has raised money for Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, victims of the Omagh Bombing and other charities.
She married Frank Woods in August 2002 in Spain. Their first child, Jake 2003, was joined by a second baby Georgina in 2004, which led to her taking some time off from the band's activities. She was notably absent from the video for the single "Long Night". It has been recently reported in Ireland's Evening Herald that Caroline is expecting her third child. The baby is due in early 2007.
