The following cities are on a sea coast. A rough guideline for addition of the city:
- A port city, it should be able to handle international vessels
- Population (including immediately adjacent suburbs) above 100,000
- Should not be greater than 20 km away from the sea.
Large lakes such as the Great Lakes and the Caspian Sea also qualify.
