Players for the New York Mutuals during the five seasons of the National Association of Base Ball Players ("National Association" baseball league), 1871 – 1875, and the first season of the National League, 1876.
The Mutual club also fielded professional teams before 1871.
All these players are commonly considered "major leaguers" although MLB does not count the NA as a major league.
