Ceratosuchus burdoshi ("Burdosh's Horned Crocodile") was an extinct alligator that lived in North America, during the Paleocene. Its remains have been found in what is now the state of Colorado. Like its modern day relatives, C. burdoshi was a swamp-dwelling predator.
C. burdoshi is named for the pair of flattened, triangular plates of bone that extend from the back of its head.
